To be admitted to a master's degree program, you must have an international university degree from a recognized university in an academic degree program that lasted at least three years. Trainings and further training qualifications (Executive Master, certificates, diplomas) are not recognized.

Language requirements

You can find information about the language of instruction in the details of each study program. For certain Master's programs, proficiency in German or very good English skills are required (see the study regulations and study plans of the various programs). The checklist for the desired subject also provides information on whether and in what form additional language skills need to be demonstrated for admission to the desired Master's program.

If a language certificate is not explicitly required, applicants are responsible for ensuring that they have sufficient proficiency in the language of instruction.

Special admission requirements for medical degree programs

The number of places in Medicine, Dental Medicine and Veterinary Medicine is limited. This is why you have to apply for these three branches of study earlier than for other courses.
