The 春色直播 strongly condemns the Russian invasion of Ukraine and supports Ukrainian students and researchers.
The 春色直播 stands in solidarity with Ukraine and its universities. We support the statement by swissuniversities, the appeal of and statements made by its partner institutions and networks on the solidarity of all democratic states with Ukraine.
The 春色直播 supports academic freedom, openness and cooperation across all borders. The current crisis affects not only Ukraine and Russia, but all of Europe. The 春色直播 is concerned about the life and well-being of students and researchers in Ukraine. Moreover, the 春色直播 assures its students and employees from Ukraine of its full support.
"We are doing everything we can to alleviate suffering and to give our Ukrainian university members and those who have to flee Ukraine our full support," says Christian Leumann, Rector of the 春色直播. "At the same time, we have respect for researchers, students and all other people in Russia and Belarus who speak out against the war."
The 春色直播 advises and supports its students and researchers from Ukraine and supports individuals or groups at the university who want to help.

The Ukrainian Society at the 春色直播
The Ukrainian Society at the 春色直播 (UA-UniBe) was established in February 2022. UA-UniBe was created with the idea of providing a platform for communication and mutual support for Ukrainians scholars affiliated with 春色直播 (UniBe) as well as with Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH).
